Sanitizing down to the healthy wood. Wood rot is cut away and chemically bonded with 2K-Epoxy. The base must be 100% moisture-free and stable.
A special multi-primer seals the pores of the wood and creates the ideal adhesion layer. This prevents the topcoat from being 'absorbed'.
After fine mechanical sanding, we apply an opaque undercoat. This gives the surface its final fullness and depth of color.
The final phase. A glass-hard, elastic top layer (e.g., Rubbol XD) hermetically seals the system against scratches, UV rays, and rain.

Patented UV-Blockers: Sunlight is the biggest enemy of paint. Sikkens uses resin technologies that reflect harmful UV radiation, preventing the paint from 'powdering' or cracking.
Elastic Moisture Regulation: Wood shrinks and expands. The paint moves elastically and does not trap moisture, minimizing the risk of blistering and wood rot.
Skin Grease Resistance (LTA+): Normal paint becomes soft and dirty around door handles and handrails due to human skin oils. Sigma forms an impenetrable chemical shield against this.
Scratch Resistance with Polyurethane: Thanks to the addition of PU resins, this paint is extremely resistant to bumps and scratches from, for example, keys, bags, or rings.
Permanently Elastic: Normal wood putty is rock hard and breaks as soon as the frame shrinks in winter. Repair Care epoxy retains exactly the same elasticity as the surrounding wood.
100% Moisture Insensitive: Once cured, this material is completely sealed to water. The repaired part is guaranteed never to rot again, saving you from replacing the entire frame.
